The Problem

Many kinds of people from Hungary want to move abroad. There are different reasons why, and every kind of goal with moving abroad but one thing is sure, there are always so many questions.

Is it really a good destination for me? Is it the best choice for me? What are the salaries? How can I get a job? Where can I live? How to handle all of the administration? Which are the best schools for my kids and how can we have a place there? Is Sweden safe enough?

I have heard and read billions of questions like these as I am also one of them who ended up living in Sweden. I get a lot of questions personally and I see daily in Facebook groups that people are full of question marks and eager to gather the most up to date and reliable information.

The main probem happens when a process ended without a success as the person is lack of any seenable progress or motivation. With a platform where they can monitor even their tinyest progress the motivation can be maintained.

My role

This is my home project so I execute all of the tasks regarding UX and UI.

The Prepared Student

Core needs

• Some proof that their future will be better and more sustainable than in their home country
• A plan to start they life in a new country on a low budget as they probably don’t have a lot of savings

Behaviours

It is not a sudden idea to move to abroad after studies, they are planning this since started at university.

They will be well prepared in a few years, maybe already started to learn the language but they at least want to start soon.
As they are studying they will have a specific profession and probably will looking for a job within this area.

Educated

Core needs

• Solid proof that relocating worths for the family
• A solid plan how they can directly start to join the education system
• Plan how they can keep in touch with their beloved family members
• Have an apartment suitable for a family with little kids in a good location
• Having a good salary to not just have enough income to live their everyday life but be able to go on vacations, buy everything they need and live a quality lifePossibility to see their family often

Behaviours

They cannot see their future in there home country.

Have some savings as they already finished the university and have a profession.

Less time than a student but still have some space for learning a new language. Maybe their profession doesn’t require speaking Swedish, English can be enough.

Like to organize everything properly, don’t want to try different possibilities rather want to chose one.

Educated

Core needs

• Solid proof that relocating worths for the family
• A solid plan how they can directly start to join the education system
• Plan how they can keep in touch with their beloved family members
• Have an apartment suitable for a family with little kids in a good location
• Having a good salary to not just have enough income to live their everyday life but be able to go on vacations, buy everything they need and live a quality life
• Possibility to see their family often

Behaviours

They cannot see their future in there home country.

They want to know how to chose the best education for their children.

Searching a job within their professional area.

Very busy with their job and kids they have a very little time to plan things.

Core needs

• An apartment with a good location to their job.
• If the company doesn’t offer helping to find a job to the partner then they have to find one.
• If they have kids they need to find the best education for them nearby the area they will move to.

Behaviours

A great job opportunity have been offered to them.

Usually in the area of healthcare or engineering.

This means the company helps as much as they can with learning the language and information about administration.

Summarize

I really enjoyed to work on this project and it would be wonderful to see it as a real project in the future. Then I could iterate more regarding the UX by execute user interviews and getting feedbacks.
